  • Not least of all is the HD 660 S's robust yet lightweight open architecture, which makes listening a sheer pleasure. The replaceable ear cushions and ample padding on the headband ensure hours and hours of great comfort while listening. The elliptical ear cups are shaped to follow the structure of the ear. The HD 660 S was designed to listen to music in the highest quality possible from a variety of audio sources. It also provides reference-class fidelity with high-resolution portable players because of its low impedance. The balanced outputs of a dedicated headphone amplifier like the HDV 820 or the balanced output of a portable digital music player are obviously where the HD 660 S reaches its full potential. As a result, it has a variety of cables for practically every situation. All cables are made of highly conductive OFC copper and have strong para-aramid reinforcement with very little handling noise.
