The SMC is a monitor controller for stereo signals and surround up to 7.1. Two 7.1 and stereo input sources can be connected. This is useful to compare productions with each other.A 7.1 speaker setup is controlled via the DB25 output. Besides the two XLR stereo inputs, there is a stereo output and mono sub out – also designed as XLR sockets. Furthermore, two 6.35mm jack connectors can be used to integrate e.g. a multi-channel metering.
