In response to demands for a smaller body electric bass guitar, the Persona 5 bass is developed. Its unique body and headstock shape has never been used by Cort before, and the stylish curves are smooth and elegant looking while keeping the body as ergonomic as possible. For Persona 5 Blue Resin Burl, a special epoxy resin is added to the top-tier poplar burl top to create that magnificent “desert oasis” effect. The process to build a resin top is so unique that only an extremely few number of Persona 5 Blue Resin Burl will be built, and each bass guitar will look different.We begin with a top-tier burled poplar wood and apply special mixture of epoxy resin that turns opaque when cured; creating a visual illusion that resembles “an oasis in the desert”. The unique process to build resin top enables each top to look different from each other.
