Dormi, Jesus from The Faber Choral Signature Series, is by one of Slovakia's leading composers, Vladimir Godar. Rob Cowan on BBC's Radio 3 has commented about Godar's music that, "it's as if Janacek, Gorecki and Monteverdi have settled on a universal language." This version of the haunting carol is for Solo Soprano and Upper Voices with a harp accompaniment, and was arranged for The Hildegard Choir and soloist, Emily Van Evera who recorded the piece for the Somm Records CD, 'So Sweet a Melody'.
