Sensors are split three ways across the cymbal, one in the bow, one on the edge and one on the bell allowing you to apply all kinds of ride techniques to your playing with a lightening fast response. Fine engravings on the surface of the ride cymbal provides exceptional stick control - similar to a heavily lathed ride cymbal, and its weight simulation allows the cymbal to swing freely to give you all the right feedback you'd expect from an acoustic drum kit.
