Score to Green Woodpeckers, the first in a series of 'Woodpecker' titles inspired by our habit of tapping out rhythms when starting a new piece. An all-time favourite with my mixed ensembles.

The viola alternative to the violin part makes it useful for ensemble sessions with only ADGC string instruments available - like when the entire violin section is off playing in a cricket match.
